Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her help and dedication to bettering South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) services for the duration of an engagement using the agency's senior managers in a strategic scheduling session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled during the 2024 matric final exams.
With the 724 156 full-time learners who registered with the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing 81% of the registered pupils during the instruction sector.
These learners realized a commendable pass rate of 86%.
